Quick Update...

I was speaking to someone from Steven's school today. They are holding a vendor event in December. I am hoping to have a spot there.
My Etsy shop, and pretty much everything has been shut down for the time being. However, I continue to work on Chelsea's Limited Edition Collection.
I have also been getting ready for the upcoming holidays. In fact...I've been crocheting from my couch. Here is a little peek (I apologize for the quality of the pictures-that's also something I've been working on for awhile)

These were some Turkey Fridgies (magnets) that I custom made for some friends; and as teacher gifts. I will be working on some other holiday items; and get them posted as soon as I can.
As I said...my shop, for the most part, is closed. However...If you know me....I will work in whatever space I can find! Please do not hesitate to ask me; if there is something you would like me to make.

Thanks again everyone, for all your patience; as we get things back in order around here.

Restore The Shore...

There are so many places that have been swept away by the recent hurricane. I am not taking any custom orders at this time. However...I will set up a donation button; if you would like to help New Jersey out.

I am actually looking into where we would like to see the donations go. I am pleased to announce that we were able to raise $50. for Hospice of Toms River last month (Breast Cancer Awareness).

Once we've decided where we would like to see our donations go; I will post briefly about it, and add the button to my site.

We are still accepting donations for Baby Silas' Family, and Chelsea. We will continue these donations through Christmas.

Thank you everyone for your patience and support. I hope to be up and running after the holidays.
Be Happy, Be Blessed, and Be Well!

Whew...Here I am....For Now...

Hello People!!!
I am so SO sorry that I haven't been on for Soooooo long! If you know me personally; then you know exactly what I've been up to. However...for those of you who don't know me; I live in New Jersey!!!
If that doesn't explain anything; allow me to do so now....
New Jersey recently went through a hurricane named Sandy. I know a lot of people who share that name. However, none of them are as nasty as this "Sandy" has been to New Jersey.
Thank God our family, for the most part, has been ok throughout. Our home, while it did not take a beating; lost power several times (the last time we were without heat and needed to move).
I am pleased to say, that I am back home; and for now, with power!!!! My shop, however, looks like Sandy had her way with it....We had to move A LOT of things that we wanted to keep dry (just in case). Plus, I had just arrived home, in time for all the festivities....
That all being said....I am still taking orders for Chelsea's Limited Edition. Her mom Cassi told me, she is doing well; and though I haven't really had the opportunity to read anything on her website; Cassi confirmed in an email that Chels is doing well.
Yes...I am taking orders; but I need to ask you all a favor if I may?...Please remain patient with me while I am getting my bearings back so to speak. We have a LOT going on right now; and you know me...
Family First!!!
Thank God my Core Family and Extended have all been doing well. We all continue to pray for my Uncle Pop aka Uncle Freddy Santa Clause. He is doing well; and we couldn't be happier.
Thanks so much for all the words of encouragement, your continued patience; and support.
Hopefully, when I am back the next time; I will have some goodies to post!!!
Be Blessed, Be Safe, and BE WELL!!!

For the month of October; I will continue to raise money for Hospice in honor of everyone who I've been honored to know and love that fought the great fight with cancer. Some of them are still fighting; and some are watching over us from above.

Broken Hearted

My heart is aching for my dear friend and her family right now. After 16 days of fighting; Silas has finished his race and is safely in the arms of Jesus. 2 Timothy 4:7
Silas, Aunt Tee is just way beyond proud of you baby. I am so honored and blessed to have seen how nice your teddy bear hat looked on you. I never got a chance to hold you; but I miss you so much already.
I want all of you who read this blog to know...I have been so incredibly blessed to know Valerie and her family all these years. They are sincerely the most remarkable people I know. They have overcome so many obstacles; but have remained more than strong.
SO many prayers are being sent to you all today; as you face this most difficult time. I love each and every one of you more than you will ever know.

Please Pray...

Each day, I've been checking my friend's blog/facebook pages to see how Baby Silas is doing. When I signed on today; it brought back a flood of memories to me. My heart is breaking remembering getting phone calls from the NICU telling us "you might want to come now". It is every parent's worst nightmare. You have no idea what state you will find your helpless child in.
We thank God every day that Abygail beat every obstacle that was placed in front of her. Baby Silas has proven the doctors wrong SO many times already. I would like you to join me in praying with everything that is in me; for him to overcome today's obstacle.
We are praying for huge miracles. Silas is already an awesome gift and MAJOR miracle! I am asking God to please heal this baby; and for him to amaze us all yet again.
I am sending HUGE hugs/kisses/ and love to my Vee Bee and the entire family! I love you all so SO much!

What made me happy today

I usually try to find one great thing in every day....Today...my "Happy" was getting to see a picture of Baby Silas with his eyes OPEN!!!
My friend Valerie started a blog of Silas' journey. She gave me permission to share their story with you. This is her site Baby Silas
Silas has been beating a LOT of the odds that were stacked against him. I believe he is a true fighter! He still has a long road ahead of him; and I am sure the family will face many more challenges.
If you would like to help the Blazer family...I have a donation button on the side of my blog.
Prayer moves mountains as well...Praying is a wonderful way to help.
I am so SO happy that I got to see his beautiful eyes!!!!

How you can help Silas and his family

This is baby Silas' family

This story is not only near to my heart; because I am a Momma of 2 babies that were born to soon. The Momma of this family is one of my best and dearest friends.

Silas was born on August 8th at 23 weeks. This is 4 months too soon. Silas came in at a whopping 1lb 2oz. He is 11 inches long. He is already fighting all the odds; and continues to amaze us all.
However, he and his family, have a long road ahead of them. Silas will remain in the NICU for the first months of his life.

This is not only hard on his Mommy and Daddy...Silas has three big sisters who are waiting for him at home. When a baby is this small; their parents usually don't get to hold them for weeks (sometimes months).
While it is emotionally taxing...there are also many medical bills associated with this kind of a hospital stay.

I am working on a Limited Edition collection for Silas and his family. 50% of each product will benefit them. I've set up a donation button on my page as well; to help with the medical bills, and everything else that adds up. I really want to see this family only have to focus on what is the most important; and that is bringing Silas home!! There is no set amount.
Thank you so much in advance for what we all will do for this family!
~Tina

Also...if you crochet or sew; please keep an eye out for donations needed.

Please Pray

I'm so sorry I haven't kept in touch. A lot has been going on with my health (I am ok though). I really really really need everyone to pray for one of my best friends. They are so far away from me right now; so I know I can't hug her. However...One thing I know for sure is that I can PRAY!
Her baby Silas was born at 23 weeks. This means he is about 4 months too soon. He is strong; and fighting all the odds so far. However, they have a long road ahead of them. He is; and will remain in the NICU; until he is strong and big enough to come home.
I've already finished his blankie; and some other goodies...that are going out tomorrow. I would like to set up a way that we can donate to the family. I am working on a Limited Edition Collection for Silas; but I am also going to post a way you can donate to the family as well.
We only had to be in the NICU (the first time for 29 days; and the second for a week). It's taxing on the entire family; as well as all the bills that just add up for each day there. I would really like them not to have to worry about those bills; if I can help it.
I will try to update as much as possible. In the meantime...if you would like to donate yarn or anything else...Please contact me at TeeniesCreations@gmail.com
God Bless

Quick Update

The vendor event on Juy 26th was wonderful! I met so many great people. A special thank you to Jennifer for making us feel so welcome.
Today I went to the most AMAZING place.....(It was my Land Of Oz). It is called Stitch N' Sew Centre. I stocked up for some new things that are coming soon. A special thanks to Mary and all the staff, who answered every question I had; and made my experience there SO much fun!!!

As I get into fall (my favorite season) products...I will be working on a lot of custom made orders for back to school, Halloween, and Fall. I love the colors I get to work with. Lots of Reds, Yellows, Oranges, and Browns....Nice and warm.

New and exciting: I finally found pink (in stock) for my headbands!!! I will be posting some pictures later today.

I know there really hasn't been much posted lately. I am just working through how I want to present things to you all. As you know a LOT of what I do is custom made. I've been working on a Photo Box; so I can show you, in better detail, what everything looks like. We will then be taking pictures of the ribbon/fabric I currently have in stock. Then you will be able to "Build Your Bows"!

I apologize for the slow start; but I promise...I will make it worth your wait!
Blessings~

In 1997, I was told I would never have a child. On July 5, 2004...My first child was born (8 weeks too soon).
They told us she would never live, walk, or talk. 8 Years later...She is alive, running, and starting to talk in sentences!! She proved each and every doubter wrong!
Abygail Grace...Is the inspiration behind Teenie's Creations!
Happy Birthday my sweet, amazing, and gorgeous angel! Here is to many more amazing years!

.com or not?....That is the question!

I've been going back and forth about making an actual site. I have a store on Etsy; but really wanted to make my own store/page.
We are currently working on that situation. I know there have been many of you eager to see a price list and even more pictures. We will be hosting a Grand Opening (info coming soon).
Each day I am learning more and more. Which means I am also making more! We just are not quite ready to go global!
I want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart; for all the interest you have shown. I promise I will make you all proud. Most businesses are ALL about business....My business is "Family First". If you read Abygail's story...Then you know I have my hands full. Both of my children have special needs. Their needs always have to come first; or I would be doing this business for nothing.
Thank you so much for your patience; during this...nesting time. Please don't ever hesitate to email me with any requests. If you see a picture you like...Chances are I have it in stock!

All of my proceeds, from the limited editions go to the charity that is listed with the posting.

Thank you for your talents!

I just wanted to take a quick second to thank every one of you who post free Tutorials. If it was not for all these selfless people...I never would be able to work from home, homeschool my daughter, and be able to donate to everyone who has helped our family!

Getting Started

So...It took me a LONG time to decide if I could make my dream a reality. I kept it all under wraps; because I needed to make sure it was the right thing for our family. My family is always first in all of my decisions (as it should be). God is the head of our family and I can do all things through HIM that strengthens me! So with that in mind....I just had such a peace inside; that this is a dream worth living.
I've always wanted to use the gifts that God has blessed me with; to bless others. Oh man....now is my chance and I can not WAIT to get started.
Things are so busy (great busy) right now; but I will try my best to get some things up soon!
Thank you to every single person who believed in me! There are SO many people who have touched my life and stood behind me; I pray each and every one of you know who you are.
It's very late and I have a LOT to do tomorrow. Good Night everyone and thank you SO much for stopping by.
~Tina

AMEN AND AMEN

I am pleased to announce that as of 2:42PM today....Teenie's Creations is an official Local Business!!! Thank you to our friend Barbara Smith, my new friend Lora, and especially my AMAZING husband Steve; for believing that my dream can truly be a reality!
I am sooooo incredibly blessed and walking on air!!!!!

Trying to get back on track...

We've had SO much going on with home school, doctor/therapy appointments, and just general crafting (when I actually have a spare minute)!
I'm sorry I haven't been blogging much. I've posted some new pictures. I am still trying to figure out getting the right angle to take the pictures at (sorry for the poor quality).
Hopefully I will be able to post a little more information about everything soon. My #1 rule is family comes first.
Please feel free to share your ideas or suggestions on what you would like to see. If you have any questions; please ask.
Happy Crafting!

Be a Blessing

I have wanted to do this site for quite some time. As John Lennon said "Life is what happens while you're busy making other plans".
I am a mom to two amazing miracles anyone could ever have the honor of being blessed with. Both of my children have special needs; but it never stops us all from living life to the fullest.
I've been in and out of the hospital all my life. At first it was because of my health. After my children were born...I am sad to say the hospital remained a part of our lives.
When you've been in and out of children's hospitals; there is so much you take home with you. We have had the pleasure of meeting some pretty amazing people through some really difficult times.
I want so much to give back to some of the places that have given so much to us. Here is where I need your help...
I am looking for people who crochet, knit, or sew. I want to create a place where people can share their talents to make scary situations better for children. I remember how great it felt to receive our first handmade gift. We were in the NICU with our daughter and the nurse brought us the cutest outfit. It didn't fit until our daughter was about 1 1/2; but it made a horrible day seem brighter. I remember the smile on one mother's face the day we were able to go home; and she still had about a month left living the NICU life. I made her daughter just a simple pink blanket; and it was like I had handed her gold.
This is also a place to Craft with a purpose. For things I actually sell (bows, blankets, Etc.) I will donate money to a charity that we are either a part of or that has touched us in some way.

It's ALL about the feeling you can give people when you hand them something handmade with your heart.
